This year, I am finally working on my art more! I'm having trouble with muscles and the way they move. I bought a good book about anatomy some time ago but because I'm dyslexic and have ADHD, it's very hard for me to read it at all. I also had this issue in school. me retarded. :pepeDrool:
I started to use the 3D model feature in Clip Studio! I made this pudgy body for my OC after realizing the original torso was too slim.
What do you guys think of the model? I have not drawn over the pudgy body yet. The original torso I drew was too slim!

I also made an experimental shortstack body for my other OC but that one is a bit of a mess and somehow the butt reset itself to 0 and I didn't realize it. :kekw: I will make it less jagged and round some other time. The 3D models are really helpful but take a long time to fiddle with!

I also bought a Stickybones figure but it's on backorder and taking ages to arrive. They are the best armatures for artists but they are a skeleton, so I still can't see how muscles actually move. The Clip Studio models help with that.

I also like that I can make a curvy male body with these models. Male and female anatomy, even in a chibi and stylized drawing, is different. I wanted to make sure to keep male specific anatomy for my OCs despite them being pudgy and round. My favorite artist Zankuro also does this when he draws chubby boys.
