"We wanted to be more deliberate about how we thought about diversity in our games, to represent that global player base that we have, so we created a diversity framework.
The diversity framework is essentially a filter, or audit, of how many lines women have in our games, how much women are played in our games, how much they are represented in our games.
Our framework is not a prescription, it is a lens, and filter, and framework that we utilize in different phases of our development process. We have what we call gates, and so as we look at gate zero, gate one... as we are creating games, the teams use the diversity filter.
It is a filter so they are intentional about the diversity and inclusion as they are considering the characters and the world they are creating. "
