I think mostly colleges are about eliminating students so they can justify only giving degrees to a few. Outside of STEM though, yeah, there’s a lot of propaganda.

@xianc78 @sjw I went to community college, and that was a time waster too. They were like the buffer to trick all the people who are not worthy into wasting years “preparing” for higher institutions. There was a thing called the IGETC I got, which would’ve helped me transfer, but the whole time my real problem got sidelined: being unable to pay.
Well that and rampant undiagnosed ADD, but at the time I figured forgetting to study for every physics exam just means I hate myself or something. Really I should’ve just gone into an apprenticeship for a trade. Or animal care.
