@coolboymew Life is all about overcoming the power others have over us. If we're gonna sit here and list all the people who would absolutely love to ruin my life on a whim, i'd be here all night. And three of them are right on that instance with you.
Every time some shit like that goes down on fedi, you all conveniently turn a blind eye. I think that's probably the thing that disgusts me most to see, people just gawking on and doing nothing while some awful shit happens.
Anyway yeah the point is I'm not going to get upset about The SJWs™ just because you tell me to when one of The Good Old Boys you're talking about over there spent the last 2-3 years trying to cancel me for "grooming" him and another one tried a truly pathetically devoted PI-style investigation into me which he accidentally copied me in on the results of.
So yeah, you can take your "Yeah here the good old lads are keeping the torch of the old internet burning" rhetoric and shove it up your ass. I'm in my mid thirties, I was on the internet when you were all shitting your diapers, I was there the fucking day 4chan was born on Something Awful, and this sickening mire of a culture you're describing only shallowly mirrors its glory.
Just earlier today I saw Matrix or some other brainlet posting some greentext thread about how it felt "good to be home" on 4chan where people just randomly assaulted each other in threads, after coming home from the clean sanitised wasteland of reddit. Well by the time Reddit even EXISTED, the mythologised golden age of 4chan was already over.
When we found creeps, traitors and sadists among us, we hunted them down. There's a documentary about it. I think it's called something like "Don't Mess With Cats." We didn't like what Scientology was doing so we founded Anonymous. And before you reach for your keys and tell me how Anonymous is "cucked now", even if that is true in some kind of provable form it would only further my point that a bunch of scared people living in suspended animation and trying to hold the hordes outside back are a *poor set of heirs* to that early crucible of hotblooded people who got worked up over stuff that mattered.
So yeah. Sorry. I'm not falling for it. Go tell a magapede or something.
