STFU, you know nothing, you don't even speak the fucking language
@coolboymew I used to be able to relate, but my mom actually looks into politics because she's like me
@Jessica what really makes me the maddest is that he doesn't even speak English (and even then, cannot write, and cannot use the Internet properly), so it's like, he doesn't even have the goddamn ability to know a damn thing about it that isn't the media narrative

What's even more frustrating is that he admitted that the media does bullshit, so why do you take the media narrative to heart then?

@coolboymew @Jessica
>what really makes me the maddest is that he doesn't even speak English
That is what concerns me the most. All these non-English speaking foreigners are going to believe what these 3rd hand takes of the US MSM say and never bother to hear from the other side due to the language barrier. But I heard that many Japanese are skeptical about these outlets who just echo the US MSM despite most of them never bothering to learn English.

@xianc78 @Jessica Basically. As said previously, the US MSM mishandling this shit badly and the other countries MSM regurgitating this uncritically has clear fucking consequences. The UK had the worst of it with BLM riots that makes no fucking sense in the country as there's not even bad police shootings, but wtf do you expect them to do about some guy that died in another continent

But I wonder, any reasons in particular the Japanese are generall skeptics of US news? (as it should, really). Perhaps a lot of the people commenting on the news actually go look what happens on Twitter and since they don't have the hyper partisan problem, there's no real incentives in misrepresenting it?

Which is surprising given that it's an English speaking country like the US, but they're increasingly censoring wrongthink by blocking websites among other things. Australia and New Zealand probably have it the worst as ISPs were forced to ban alternative news sites, imageboards, alt-social media, etc after the Christchurch shooting.

>But I wonder, any reasons in particular the Japanese are generall skeptics of US news?
I guess they're noticing the US MSM attacking Japanese politics and culture (their ethnocentrism, lolicon, being more socially conservative than the west, etc). They probably notice these things from foreigners visiting their country, so when they see the Japanese MSM repeating what the US MSM says, they immediately get skeptical.

I think it also helps that Japanese seem to strongly oppose radical leftist ideas like communism (being enemies of China and North Korea), so they are probably noticing the US news outlets defending antifa and more recently the CCP. I think the later is more noticeable since Japan has had a long rivalry with China.

@xianc78 @Jessica The Christchurch shooting thing was bullshit

Wasn't it literally livestreamed on Facebook? Obviously, they get no consequences, but any rando could come and copypaste the manifesto to 8chan and it's 8Chan's problem? Bullshit

And it makes sense for the Japan vs China thing

@coolboymew @Jessica It was live streamed on Facebook, but the shooter DID announce his shooting and uploaded the manifesto to 8chan. However, this shit happens all the time on other websites. The only difference is that usually there are not enough casualties to make it newsworthy outside of local news outlets.

And this guy probably wanted this reaction because he said that he wanted to cause more political tension so it could lead to an all out race war. These MSM and government pricks are giving the shooter exactly what he wanted.

@xianc78 @coolboymew @Jessica Without checking who and what the shooter was. Now its illegal to watch it in New Zealand. You could get New Zealanders banned from your website by posting parts of it as ebin troll.
