So Google removed the Element app (reference client for the matrix network) from the Play Store.

@coolboymew no public statements, but the Element team said that Google told them that it was removed for "abusive content". I suppose Google will be removing Chrome browser here later today...
@fm oof, that's starting bad for the fedi apps, looks like they're entirely going to remove competitions
If anyone is on iOS, better move to Android stuff so you can actually sideload apps
