@daphailwhale Surprised that it's in English. Nintendo usually leaves messages in their tile maps but in Kanji.
@xianc78 I'm under the assumption that whoever wrote that was probably fluent enough in English to know what it meant and directed it at... someone - maybe at another English-speaker on staff that they had a personal beef with? I don't think anyone involved would remember anything about it by this point, though.
