“This is the best promotion that could be done in America: we’ll give you a donut if you get your shot. I’ve seen people, all you need to is color them yellow, and they’re Homer Simpson. That’s the level, people are actually excited about this!” — @adam #noagenda 1332

@noagendaquotes @adam Perhaps if this was done as soon as it was released, but now it'd just come off as suspicious. I still don't see why there's such a push to get it, there's blatant propaganda everywhere. Someone actually afraid to get it (immunocompromised, old, underlying conditions, etc) WILL take the vaccine in the interest of self preservation.

They could just be upfront and say it's so it transfers less and doesn't mutate into something worse, yet they aren't and instead are trying to "carrot on the stick" by keeping society closed until 80% of people get it. And hell, they even fucked that up. They said there was mutations but didn't say HOW they came to be. Now even less people are getting the vaccine because what's the point if this new mutation is going to keep society closed down until another vaccine is made?
@noagendaquotes @adam The only way I can see this playing out now is
>virus mutates because it's still spreading
>mutations make current vaccines ineffective
>nobody trusts getting vaccines anymore since it'll just happen again
Followed by scenario A
>corona gets worse and worse with each mutation
>governments have no choice but to force everyone to get it either by martial law or making it impossible to live without taking it (possibly resulting in revolt, which would explain all the anti-gun laws being passed)
Or scenario B
>corona gets less bad or stays the same
>it becomes basically another yearly flu with some people getting a shot every season if they want
A third scenario is if a vaccine comes out that somehow gets every mutation but I have no clue if that's even medically possible

@lelouchebag There’s nothing to even show any of these vaccines are even effective. When cruise ships go back into operation is where we’ll see the results: if infections still spread with the same veracity as prior to vaccinations (they are mandatory on cruise ships now) .. they might just try to blame people they claim faked their vaccine passports too.

Your scenario is possible too. Just look at what happens with Polio vaccines. It hasn’t been eliminated, despite the same efforts put into it as was Small Pox. The wrong vaccine type for Polio in the wrong region can lead to outbreaks.

Immune enhancement syndrome and dependency are possibilities. Without long term animal reproductive studies, so is a real Children of Men situation. I’m sure they’ll find some way to blame the virus instead of the vaccine.

@djsumdog @lelouchebag Reminder that most if not all pandemics have never ended with a vaccine.
