I'm not anti-vax I'm just really feeling it different having adults voluntarily take an unapproved drug, and forcing a kid to take it where their fatality rate for the disease is 0.2%.
@Moon Note that the risks of vaccination are much lower than 0.2% and the main reason why vaccinating them is important is so they don't act as a reservoir for the disease that new mutations can spring from.

@ArdanianRight @Moon We still won't know the long term risks for years to come. That's why it usually takes years to make a vaccine.

@ArdanianRight @Moon And there are already mutations. The disease is endemic now and vaccinations are pointless.

@xianc78 @Moon The people who say this shit are the same ones who said that you couldn't make a working vaccine for coronaviruses at all.
@ArdanianRight @SirFahrenheit @xianc78 covid-19 vaccine is like 75-95% effective, regular influenza vaccines that everybody take for granted is like 40 lol
@Moon @ArdanianRight @SirFahrenheit @xianc78 Can't get Covid if you die from the vaccine first. thinking_negro.jpg

@Moon @ArdanianRight @xianc78 effective at what? What were they measuring when they came up with that percentage?

@Moon @ArdanianRight @SirFahrenheit That's only because the strain that these seasonal flu vaccines have aren't the actual strains that break out during said flu season.

@SirFahrenheit @ArdanianRight @Moon I think if you have adequate enough Vitamin D levels, you have a 70-80% less chance of contracting COVID in the first place. The real COVID vaccine is Vitamin D.

@ArdanianRight @Moon Not saying you can't make a vaccine for human coronaviruses (the ones we have right now isn't even a vaccine by legal or medical definition). But this disease IS endemic and is just going to be a seasonal thing for now on. Best thing to do is just improve your immune system through nutrition and exercise.

And long term effects are still a concern and long term effects of the vaccines =/= long term effects from the virus itself. It's been speculated that the vaccines may (keyword: may) cause neurological diseases like ALS later in life.

Ultimately, you do you, but I don't trust this at all. Especially when it's using a technique that has never been used in vaccines before.
