Just one day after my birthday, but I just got a regular Switch last year. I just hope half of the new games that come out won't be Pro exclusives.
@coolboymew @lelouchebag I wish more consoles had RAM expansions like what the N64 and Saturn had instead of these mid-gen upgrades.
@xianc78 @lelouchebag I dunno. Nowadays the CPU and GPU are the biggest bottleneck most likely, that's kinda hard to simply replace
@coolboymew @lelouchebag I think Capcom among others complained about the limited RAM on the Switch though. And developers can probably save a lot of CPU cycles (mostly from reading from the disc/cartridge) if they use more data buffers and that requires more RAM.
@xianc78 @coolboymew Ehh I bet it'll be like the new 3ds where most games can run on the older model with less enemies/textures, but I'm sure they'll put out like a couple of exclusives near the end
Then again... it's been 4 years or so, so a whole extra 100$ could indeed probably offer a significant power jump
