@mrsaturday @kino @feld They're extremely anti-Darwinian in their ethics. Passing on your DNA to the next generation is no different than hosting and nurturing an entirely foreign parasite. And they're consistent with their attitude towards population growth via the native population's fertility as opposed to population growth via third world immigration.
@ArdanianRight @feld @kino Eh. You see a lot of cheapening of the concept of motherhood on both sides. People acting like a fetus is an invasive parasite rather than a natural consequence of sex or one of the most beautiful parts of the human condition is disgusting, for sure, though.

@mrsaturday @feld @ArdanianRight @kino A lot of this stems as a result of the rise of anti-natalism. A lot of women don't even want kids these days. They think motherhood reinforces gender roles and having kids is anti-feminist.
