Granted I bet most people didn't FINISH Mario Rabbids but the game itself is probably one of the most mechanically interesting things to come out of the west in a very long time.

@DrRyanSkelton @reloadedAK @SnekTheSneaky I didn't play it but the game looks like it's at least trying to be fun as opposed to being deliberately gay and pretentious, so it's automatically the best thing shown yet.
@ArdanianRight @DrRyanSkelton @SnekTheSneaky @reloadedAK Mario + Rabbids is very easy to review: Basically, it's a better game than it has any right to be, and has more effort put into every aspect of it (graphics, music, gameplay etc) than you could have reasonably expected.
@ChristiJunior @ArdanianRight @SnekTheSneaky @reloadedAK I have trouble writing off Ubisoft completely. I'm never touching Ass Creed after Black Flag, but they really do put a lot of effort they don't technically need to into their games.
@DrRyanSkelton @ChristiJunior @SnekTheSneaky @reloadedAK Ubisoft are talented devs, but they do have cringe tendencies due to being French and greedy tendencies due to being AAA devs. If Nintendo oversight keeps those in check they're very capable of making good games.
@ArdanianRight @DrRyanSkelton @SnekTheSneaky @reloadedAK For all the midwit anti-Nintendo talking points out there, they're obviously a rare force for good in the gaming industry. Just look at how brightly Rare shone while owned by Nintendo, compared to their extremely Meh performance under Microsoft. Or look at Nintendo enabling Monolith Soft to make the Xeno series more popular (and gameplay-wise far better) than it ever was before.
