You can make it more privacy respecting with a few configurations but to me, it's just a crypto-mining scam. I prefer LibreWolf.

None of them are truly independent from the Google/Mozilla duopoly with the only exception being PaleMoon (using a fork of Gecko) but Moonchild has been blacklisting add-ons for moralfag reasons among other things.

The whitelist is because Facebook, etc., would be completely broken otherwise. And it's targeting privacy for normies, which obviously can't be as effective as someone fine tuning every setting themselves.
Everyone agrees uphold is shit, though being a U.S. company their hands are tied on a lot of the crypto stuff, KYC requirements and the like. Regardless, it'll be nice when on-chain tipping is implemented.
