I get that it would be a mistake to use the Taliban's victory as proof that technology doesn't matter and masculinity ultimately triumphs, but it does seem to illustrate that modern globohomo militaries are not invincible by any means, excepting maybe if they're willing to go all-in with nuclear annihilation of regions.

@xianc78 Who said I was against genetic research? Some aspects might be weird and unsettling but it's gonna happen and it can do a lot of good too.

@ArdanianRight It needs to be 100% voluntary though. A lot of people are proposing that we modify humans to fight climate change (meat intolerance, cat-like vision to reduce the need for lights, etc) and governments could make that mandatory. Other than that, I'm all 100% for it.
@xianc78 I doubt very much that it'd be 100% voluntary given how useful it is.
