Over the past 2 years presidential standards for responding to crises has plummeted astronomically. Even Dubya and Obama could play president once in a while, but at this point the government can't even feign either competence or concern over incompetence.

@xianc78 Something like 9/11 I could see, but the Capitol storming and this Afghanistan withdrawal clusterfuck are way too humiliating to be done on purpose.
