It's a difficult place to be. My best suggestion is to pray earnestly for a fix to what ails the church. Clearly fragmentation isn't the solution, and neither is institutionalising changes which are opposed to the faith.

@xianc78 @ChristiJunior @leyonhjelm @lain Never going to church again? The role of the Pope is temporary at least... usually old men leading. That does at least give you a chance to see what it is like under the ones that come afterwards if you are around then. But given corruption within the church, I wouldn't blame you if you decided to just not return. It's silly how many people they let in as priests and then cover up for them.

The most similar are Anglican and Lutheran.

Can also go for the mystical Christians like the Pentacostal, Victory, and some Mormons.

They are way to extreme for my liking.

@xianc78 @Andrii @leyonhjelm @lain @ChristiJunior You probably have better luck than me at finding what you like here. My fellow atheists have a harder time escaping the clutches of modern politics. Mostly because this was what they grew up with that they would need to unlearn and they have to figure out their own values without a guide or community.
