do computer scientists follow the scientific method
@SuricrasiaOnline I've yet to believe there really is science in CS.
There is software/hardware engineering though.

@lanodan @SuricrasiaOnline It seems like most software engineers don't follow the engineering design process though.
And the method used basically doesn't matters, which is where science begins to me, about having a detailed process where you state your assumptions and make it reproducible and having others debunking it as much as possible. (while code reviews are "looks good to me")
