The article makes a lot of infantile assumptions about how people work, while acknowledging some problems it provides no solutions for other than the hope that they can be reasoned civilly.
But that's not even what I was talking about. I was not referring to in-fighting in the libertarian utopia, but about neighbouring states conquering the libertarian non-country. That alone is a huge problem even before considering warlords from within.

Well that's really a constant problem everywhere, isn't it? It's not like you being in a fascist/communist/liberal/ancap/whatever place is somehow gonna change the fact that war is the natural state of the world, invading forces are always at the gate, and peace is only temporary. The problem if anything would be whether people are actually willing to defend what's theirs or if they would simply bend the knee whenever trouble arises.

You'd have a harder time negotiating peaceful relations with neighbours if you have no nation to being with. It sounds false to consider the risk of invasion by hostile nations to be equal between a nation or a non-nation.
