Note that Critical Race Theory is explicitly opposed to traditional scientific inquiry on an epistemological basis. A core tenet is the rejection of objective truth and impartial studies in favor of lived experience. Right-wingers might occasionally oppose the established scientific community on different issues, but don't challenge the concept of empiricism as a means of attaining knowledge(excepting Austrian economics lolberts and maybe a handful of Biblical literalists). Opposition to science as a process and concept is almost entirely coming from the left and it's more pernicious because it's destroying supposedly scientific institutions.

@ArdanianRight There is no such thing as "settled science". While there is an objective truth, scientific reasoning is based on doubt and challenging the current consensus.

@xianc78 That's the point. Science is a process for acquiring knowledge as opposed to merely a body of facts, and Critical Race Theory challenges the validity of said process.
