Note that Critical Race Theory has absolutely nothing to do with what is or isn't taught in history classes, and rather provides a theoretical foundation for teaching. It teaches history(and other subjects) through an explicit lens of oppressor and oppressed based on racial identity. Obviously this is going to affect what is or isn't important and worth being taught, but that part isn't really the point of CRT. CRT being a bad framework is harmful because all empirical knowledge placed on top of it is only going to be understood in the context of political propaganda, same for gender theory.
