https://twitter.com/Reuters/status/1456579181979054084 So we've got a universally available vaccine out that reduces the chance of severe illness/death by around 90%, a pill that'll (hopefully) be shortly approved and made widely available that reduces the threat by another 90% on top of that, for a disease with a baseline kill rate of 0.5%. Plus it appears the disease doesn't seem to cause permanent brain damage, at least not in mild cases. If people want to keep wearing masks there's nothing wrong with that, but we're approaching the point where there's no real rationale for Covid mandates anywhere.
