What happened to Neckbeard.xyz?

Some bullshit with the xyz TLD folks. They didn't even try to notify me.
I'm currently working on it right now but I don't have an ETA sadly.

@sjw Okay. How feasible is it to have a fedi instance using a non-ICANN domain like NameCoin or Unstoppable Domains? Anyone who would want to federate with said instance will obviously have to configure their DNS settings, but how many instances are willing to do it?

@xianc78 That'd be pretty hard because you'd need a cert signed by a CA other instances trusted plus other instances would need to have DNS settings that'd resolve your domain.

@sjw Probably be better in the long run though. No more dealing with domain registrar bullshit. I think P2P DNS is the way of the future.

@graf @sjw Okay. I forgot that Unstoppable Domains uses DNS over HTTPS. That may be a problem when it comes to federation.
