@astheroth .xyz TLD pulled their domain, AFAIK they haven’t given the actual reason yet. He’s setting up iirc base.st as his new server and trying to figure out what if anything he can migrate across domains (TLDR sounds like ‘not much’).
Yeah, with the neo TLDs there are a lot of them out there now.
Oh, I missread as ‘base’ instead of ‘based’. AFAIK no one has compiled a list. Let’s pool together $185K and start the .based TLD
The .club tld used to be a cool independent company, but they were bought by godaddy and iirc they suspended moon’s seal.club domain…. or maybe just wanted an insane amount of money to renew it. Anyway, morale of the story is, can’t always control these things.
@luke @anonymoose @astheroth @Laconicif I was talking to @graf about this. He's planning to look into it after helping out @sjw .
@graf @anonymoose @Laconicif @astheroth @sjw @luke Have you also looked into NameCoin?
@luke @anonymoose @graf @sjw @astheroth @Laconicif ZeroNet uses it for it's domains but it can also be used for clearnet sites. They only offer .bit though.
@djsumdog @anonymoose @Laconicif @astheroth @graf @sjw @luke No. I just know about it. Apparently, you need the Namecoin wallet for it to work. I know when it comes to ZeroNet there is a ZeroNet site were you can purchase .bit domains (ZeroName), but I think on there you can only use it with ZeroNet.
