I can make a site for free speech, and I can also make a site for polite company, and I don't think there's conflicting values having and appreciating both.

@1iceloops123 @Moon I just wish we can have a free speech community without it devolving into a /pol/-tard echo chamber.

Any free space will eventually have power concentrate in the hands of those who are best suited for it.
Any free speech space will eventually become a right wing echo chamber, because the right is right.

the 4chan theory is that if you shit in the middle of your own floor, it will keep out infiltrators. In the end even that didn't work for 4chan so I see no reason why any online community should be immune to pathological personalities that drive out normal people even if they agree with you.
@Moon @xianc78 @1iceloops123 The 4chan system doesn't protect you if the owner of your site turns gay.
@1iceloops123 @xianc78 @Moon Yeah but he only did that after 8chan fell to direct fed intervention it's unrelated.

I would simply allow boards for doxing, stalking, and murdering the people on the pedophile boards.
The problem would sort itself out.
Freedom works!
@Eris @1iceloops123 @xianc78 well another example is wikipedia which used to have a completely flat user hierarchy with no moderators, eventually it was taken over by literally insane people. My point is simple, it's not a meritocracy, you can "win" by simply being a fucking weirdo who posts more than other people.
