Why is it so difficult for freetards to make lightweight, intuitive, and/or attractive GUIs? There has to be a middle ground between doing everything in a terminal and every program being some electron abomination

@tengumatingpress Look at the options available for widget toolkits in the foss world which aren't electron, you'll happen upon your answer.

@allison Pretty amazing this isn't a solved problem after so many decades. Guess it's only free software if you don't value your time :^)
