@xianc78 Isn't this actually a good thing? Those people were bound to show up due to censorship. That's the entire point of fedi, right? As long as they all choose to congregate on one or only a few instances you can easily mute the domain and get on with life if they really bother you that much. They largely avoid online arguments though and only use the platform to communicate with close friends and family.

My entire extended family insists on documenting their entire life for one another using Facebook. Everyone from grandparents down to children. I don't mind the activity itself but they insist on using Facebook and I've had very limited luck so far conveying to them just how creepy the entire arrangement is.
They also backup all family photos to various cloud providers among other questionable practices. They are apparently incapable of understanding the notion that if the service is free you're being spied on.
