Reminder that most accusations of "ableism" are bullshit. Society can never realistically accommodate for every fucking disability. And the disabled should be fucking grateful that they are alive in the first place because before the industrial revolution, natural selection would take them out.
If any cripple plays victimhood, feel free to neglect them.
@xianc78 When I worked retail, we would get a deaf couple that would come in and try to browbeat us into 25% discounts on furniture on account of them being deaf. Me and the coworkers would treat dealing with them like falling on a grenade for one another.
@mrsaturday @xianc78 one time my uncle injured one of his eyes and had an eyepatch and he tried to get a 50% discount at the movie theater.
Disabled people are treated as second class citizens for a good reason: they are literally unable to do certain things. They should be grateful to be alive and taken care of and shut the fuck up. Otherwise, they should be left out to die.
And this is coming from a disabled person.
