@ChristiJunior @TheMadPirate @LouisConde Despite being a devout Christian MLK's wife became a huge supporter of LGBT rights in her later years. I don't know if MLK would have supported it though. I do know that MLK did reject the disability rights movement.
MLK wasn't even a Christian in the most basic sense. He didn't even believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ.
Back in the 60's, every black man outside of a prison claimed to be a "preacher", just like every redneck in Utah today claims to be a Mormon "Elder" or "Bishop".
