@becassine probably never at this point, Microsoft started the latest buyout craze and the entire western market is going to be bought now
@coolboymew @becassine You know this company called Disney? Microsoft is gonna try to be that for vidya, only without the legacy of actually creating their own stuff.

@ArdanianRight @becassine @coolboymew I'd say they're trying to be more like Netflix for vidya. Their strategy with the Xbox Series X|S is to market Xbox more as a brand rather than a platform. Any Xbox game will also work on Windows and Microsoft is allowing their IPs on other platforms. Soon, you can play any Xbox game on any supported device.
@xianc78 @ArdanianRight @becassine it's very bad because it's a massive gateway into streaming games. Fuck crappy subscription service for games, as far as I'm aware, devs are not winning in there and this is possibly going to make even worst practices
