@Paradox @xianc78 nobody will advocate for nuclear energy because of a few fuckups that happened in the infancy of harnessing it, it got a lot more hate than it should have. it will never be risk-free but the dangers really need to be reassessed, especially with the knowledge we have now

You are right not a lot of people will advocate for it for that reason. However, if you want a carbon-free future, you would have to find a way to get past the limitations of solar and wind. The problem with hydroelectric is that almost everywhere you can build a plant, they have built a plant, at least in the United States. The other thing is no one talks about all the invitations in nuclear.
