It's not like I was promoting it. I thought it was an interesting project and I was and still am skeptical on how it will turn out in the long run. Their "voluntary tax" system seems plutocratic to me for one and they seem so invested in the whole blockchain meme.
But this guy had to shame me for not knowing about Croatian/Serbian culture and trying to destroy it, despite this micronation being on a no-man's land. Jesus Christ.
I checked into it a while ago, and it's basically a crypto scam. I opted not to provide my personal information because in the event that it does not become legally viable, the proprietor can essentially just monetize your data/PII instead, or as well.

@toiletpaper @lain Their apparent obsession with blockchain is why I'm skeptical especially since it's apparently based on Ethereum (whose creator was present at the World Government Summit this year). I think it would be better if they based their crypto off of Monero (currently the only cryptocurrency worth a damn) and also have a physical currency for local transactions. But they claim that they are not forcing anyone to use their currency which is a good thing.
@lain Hey, maybe if you show them Pleroma and set them up a Pleroma instance, they would grant you citizenship to there. They grant citizenship for those who they think might be useful to them.
@lain Neither one of them owns it. It's a no-man's land under international law.
