No it is not. Get over your autism.
@xianc78 You're on a platform that's designed to be modular with a shared protocol where you can drop in various combinations of programs
Why are you here? Go play with the monolithism of twatter
@applejack I'm talking about those who take the philosophy to the extreme. I'm talking about the suckless and cat-v autists.
@xianc78 Idk much about cat-v but suckless does some neat stuff. St with a few patches is as good as a terminal gets, farbfeld actually has support in programs like imagemagic and imlib and its like 10 lines to impliment a loader from scratch so its really useful, dwm is good and what my WM (awesome) is forked from, and libgrapheme is cool if you don't want to care about implementing your own utf8 decoder, even though it's easy and worthwhile
@applejack Yeah but these are the people who shame me for making games in C#.
@xianc78 Does that make the UNIX philosophy wrong? It's a standard nerd thing to hate on people for using different tools
I'm really glad that people still make programs that do just one thing well that can then be glued together well. I wouldn't really say that applies to games though

Forget how awful that list is. The plan9/go autists really need to be purged
