@colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika @xianc78 so you just expect everyone who is displaced to become farmers?
@colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika @xianc78 permaculture is cool and all but a hypercompetitive market doesn't really permit hobbies like this
@xianc78 @colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika well that too but but i lived the whole "wowee work was so hard i got no time left to raise my kids" shit

@icedquinn
UniversalBasicIncome really does fix this.

Its just a basic #RightToLive and the world got very close to enacting it into law in the #NixonEra, as strange as that may sound it reduces bureaucracy.

If you are drawn to basic sustinence and being able to pursue #permaculture, textiles, or any #hobby that you think will be appreciated, then fight for a UBI.

Find the video, 'UBI: A Right to Live', on your fave invidious.

@xianc78 @colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika

@xianc78
That is your opinion but without a UBI we destory the environment for ourselves.

Your link don't work for TorBrowser users, last we checked.

Were you able to find the 'UBI: A Right to Live' video?

How is a UBI technocratic? We use tech all the time, to make things worse for our environment. UBI is tech that'll make things better. Greater equality reduces societal illnesses that spur #overconsumption and #crime.

@icedquinn @colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika

@xianc78 @icedquinn @colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika
We just boosted how a UBI might work in such a way as to still encourage frugality, via #constructiveAmbiguity.

In #Australia about 100bn at the time of study went into the beaurocracy, if than went into simply giving people a subsistence wage it actually it shown to boost participation, people work more.

>Your link don't work for TorBrowser users, last we checked.
It does for me and I'm using Tor Browser.

>How is a UBI technocratic?
Technocrats like Bill Gates and Elon Musk support it. It's just a shitty rebranding of the technocratic "energy credit" system that was supposed to replace money. And UBI isn't so universal if the same people giving you your monthly income can shut off your CBDC account. It's really just a way for the central banksters to have even more control of our monetary system.

If you want a better solution, look into land value tax. I'm not an advocate of that either but it's better than this shit.

@xianc78
Bad leaders around the time of WWII supported quality healthcare for all, too, so a nasty supporting something doesn't mean much - its fallacious reasoning.

Also CBDC not needed.

Maybe you have JS enabled? Records for #archiveDotPh are its CloudFlare, blocksTor.

archive.is is goog' from memory. Try archive.org?

We agree, #LandTax on ImprovedValue is good too👍Also Max' Rental Income like in Germany is another possibility.

@icedquinn @colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika

@xianc78 @dsfgs @colinsmatt11 @Hyolobrika clowns like it because administrating it is an opportunity for obedience enforcement. The actual thinkers behind it act otherwise.

C H Douglas wrote about it as social credit and from an engineering perspective about how the market system allows superpoverty to exist through market failure. Ironically Corbett cites Heinlein who also was sympathetic to social credit and wrote about a libertarisnized version in For Us The Living.

MIT proved the Protestant Work Ethic is a total meme and simulations show success tracks encounters with opportunity (connrctions) and that's all. When fiddling with the Sim they used another model of a pool of scientists all doing work and found that an UBI like random distribution made better decisions.

We know this is probably because in Thinking Fast And Slow people are found to have horribly wrong intuitions about things. Especially apex fallacies. Where super winners emerge and people form stereotypes from them and then apply them in reverse where only people who look like that then seem like winners.

In actuality letting the banks decide everything has only worked in spite of society more than actually helping it.

Clowns are very good at getting babies thrown out with the bath water.
@xianc78 @Hyolobrika @colinsmatt11 @dsfgs Success happens somewhat randomly for the mildly competent then their features are stereotyped and enforced for the next generation of that worker type.

What UBIs actually do is move the inflation from bankers enjoying it to the civilians. Although there have been UBIs and NITs designed around sound money budgets ad well.

A NIT is even easier to administrate than most entitlements because you just look at their income and supplement unconditionally if its below poverty line or turn back in to a tax after a point.

They seem tentatively like massive improvements. Its just nobody actually cares about society and oh no someone might be allowed to buy shoes and go to schools without the requisite amount of suffering :ablobcatgooglytenor: can't have that
