The moneyless lifestyle is fucking retarded. It's basically "Break free from the capitalist system by leaching off of those who still work in it."

@xianc78 @bronze i dunno if i would say statism is unnatural. most humans are serfs by nature. they gravitate towards certain personalities and adopt those people's opinions/mannerisms and they do this even in zero stakes social circles.

i mean the origin of the state is bread distribution because population density got so large that anarchism was no longer viable
@mystik @icedquinn @bronze @xianc78
the world cannot grow more resources if there are too many people taking from it
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
There can't be "too many people" for the next centuries, for the next millennium even.
There's just too much space in this world, it's too big.

What we need is better technology to produce those resources. Either we do it in a centralized way (empowering even more already existing evil entities), or in a decentralized way (empowering individuals and small communities).
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
Correct. According to current mainstream paradigms there are a lot of limiting factors. They all can be reduced to energy production/storage.
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78 It all comes from energy. Once you have sufficient energy you can turn ANYTHING into a paradise.
@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
guess that explains why Israel and north Africa is a deserted shithole - they don't terraform
@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
yes, just goes to show by "ENERGY" you also mean human work - energy making the situation better not worse. constantly.
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
Once it's built, it's built. It requires an initial investment, yes.
@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
disagree, landscaping, terraforming, composting is the price humans have to pay for having large cities. its a constant job.
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
We're mixing two things here.
One thing is terraforming, what this "Greening The Desert" project does.
Another thing is food production. For that there are solutions that, again, involve lots of energy too.

@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
both go hand in hand, the best food is grown in a more natural environment without pests and insecticides, mass produced food requires unnatural conditions like deforestation which is the antithesis to terraforming.
@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
>natural is better
>posts a picture from inside a mass-production facility
are you daft
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78 lol
lol
I get you man. I mean there are less limitations than you think. There are always solutions when you got the resources to make them real. That's my point.
@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
I imagine a world where NOBODY needs mass produced food and can live off the nearby ecosystems sustainably.

@Dave @icedquinn @bronze @mystik It doesn't take that much space to grow your own food. A garden the size of an entire backyard could probably feed an entire neighborhood.

As for meats, rabbits and chickens don't require much space. Rabbit especially can just be fed off of leaves and grass.

@xianc78 @icedquinn @bronze @mystik
I'm talking about a much smaller human population not one in which people still have yards and gardens.
@Dave @xianc78 @bronze @icedquinn
That's the past for us. Don't be lazy, God gave us a brain to go conquer inhospitable territories.

@mystik @icedquinn @bronze @Dave Fucking this. Just look at all the various climates we manage to settle in, despite being a tropical species.

@xianc78 @mystik @icedquinn @bronze
i can assure you where my genes originate from is not tropical and i do not belong in an area with no winter and 85% average humidity. tropical people destroy the environment and then move north. its called climate change aka nigger migration maybe youve heard of it. The Sahara isn't supposed to be growing like this. but niggers do not plant trees they cut them down.
@Dave @xianc78 @bronze @icedquinn The continents raised, exposing sea water salt and sand, spread across neighboring areas by winds, that's what creates this "climate change."
It can't be stopped, this desertification process on planet Earth has been going on for millennia.
Nothing to do with humans.
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
They are wrong. This process has been recorded for thousands of years, when the human population size was inconsequential.
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78 Nah, it's not because of humans. It's grown a lot more in the centuries previous to the industrial revolution.
Again, it's got to do with sand and salt, not any "CO2" fairy tale. Occam's razor.
@Dave @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78 Yes.
The chinese accomplish reforestation by preventing sand from flying around. Very simple solution.
They are still learning about the right combination of trees and plants, and stewardship.

@mystik @bronze @icedquinn @xianc78
if only niggers and jews could too. ill watch this vid after this other thread dies

@Dave @icedquinn @bronze @mystik Or how about instead of cutting down trees to grow gardens. We make floating gardens on the ocean via seasteading? There is another solution.

@Dave @xianc78 @bronze @icedquinn All humans fail. Because they abandoned Natural Law. Once we restore Natural Law, once we listen to what Nature has to say, solutions will flow like water from a mountain stream.
