Imagine if emergency services were exclusively app-based.
Imagine your house is set on fire, you try to call a fire fighter, and an automatic voice says "I'm sorry, but due to an increasing number of calls, you have to download the emergency service app from the Crap Store or Play Store", and you have no iOS or Goolag Android.
What are you supposed to do?

@ryo Phone numbers are being replaced by apps. The solution is to have shortcuts to phone numbers on your home screen.
