@waltercool I don't get the mentality that people need to work less therefore we should abolish work entirely.

I fully agree with abolishing work, but then don't parasite others in terms of food/house/water/electricity/etc.

@waltercool I'm hoping that thing like 3D printing will help make a P2P economy a reality. If you really hate work that much then you should try living off grid or find someone who is willing to let you leech off of them.

@Hyolobrika @waltercool Move to the country. Generate your own electricity (solar panels). Grow your own food. It's illegal in some places though.

I am with you in that I don't really think "abolish work" is a functional goal. I do think reducing dependence on a broken system should be everyone's goal. Part of that is building new systems that are more resilient and decentralized. I think even if a person isn't able to get "off grid" there are ways they can become more independent (growing food for example) or even voluntarily dependent on alternative systems (finding a local farm to buy food from).

Come on man, this is bullshit!
If you need a loysense to live free, then you're a slave!

@ryo @Hyolobrika @waltercool Well if you are breaking the law, you also need a plan in case the feds start storming your homestead.

@xianc78 @Hyolobrika @waltercool Just don't notify them where you are then, I really doubt they'll just come after you unless they want to put you up as an example to scare everyone else off.
Or otherwise just move to an area where it's less tyrannical.

@ryo @Hyolobrika @waltercool Seasteading should provide an escape from all governments (they can't claim the ocean), but various Navies around the world always intervene as the case with Taiwan.
