@icedquinn They're only weird because of Nintendo's patent on the d-pad. You can use a Genesis controller on the Master System if you don't like it.

@icedquinn@blob.cat @xianc78@gameliberty.club i currently have an n64 style one, a snes style one and a playstation analog style one. I wanted to play altered beast a week ago and then i remembered i didnt have the right controller and remapping just wouldnt be the same. Got a pretty comfy setup now for retroooooming, got a crappy little tube tv with a built in vcr and repurposed a pi 4 to recalbox. With the perfect reproduction controller i can almost relive a good portion of my childhood without the suffering.
i'm not buying one but just admiring old things.
