Anyone who is dumb enough to use Cloudflare deserves what happened to KiwiFarms.
@jakub I don't know about out of the box. I'd rather have a site be Tor only than to rely on CloudFlare. CloudFlare can inject HTML, CSS, or JavaScript to any website that is behind it. That alone is a reason not to trust them.
@xianc78 correct, but they outright tell you that’s what they’re doing and you have the option to turn it on/off. This can be proven via the headers. Typically it’s done for optimization. I like it as a forward facing intermediary, before the actual site is served, to facilitate rate limiting and bot thwarting.
@xianc78 Nobody else gave the same protection for the same price and especially nobody that would accept something like KF. The vast vast vast majority of companies, maybe all of them, would have dropped them instantly
