A, C, and D are tempting to me. Sega is less evil than Microsoft, 1990s Squaresoft was my favorite game company, and preventing capeshit movies from taking over the world is an objectively good thing.
B doesn't appeal to me as much. The video game industry needed to get through the 3D growing pains sometime, just to get it out of the way.

@noyoushutthefuckupdad Or how about Option E: either the 3DO, Amiga CD32, Jaguar, PC-FX, or Apple Pippin never failed and there respective companies are still making consoles to this day. One of them may have turned less evil than Microsoft and Sony.
....okay maybe not Apple or Atari, but the rest are good contenders.
