@hachi It's a requirement for anyone new to the fediverse to watch this anime called Serial Experiments Lain all the way through and make sure to make references to it daily as well.

It's about a girl who gets "sucked into" the internet essentially, with an overarching plotline that could be a metaphor for everyone getting hooked on the internet from the first scene of the schoolgirl killing herself to live eternally online to the scene with the guy walking around in public with a VR headset on.
