I have a feeling that "vegan" and "carnivore" are yet another pair of divide and conquer labels people are being forced to attach to themselves.
I mean, they're labels for sure, but I just got a thought of them being used for divide and conquer purposes.
Right in line with ball earth vs flat earth, black vs white, urban vs rural, communism/soycialism vs capitalism, statism vs anarchy, left vs right, authoritarian vs libertarian, vaccinated vs healthy people, maskers vs no-maskers, west vs east, Ukraine vs Roshan...........................

I'm considering on making an article about these labels and why it's bad when it comes to online anonymity.
I already dropped a couple of labels, and I'm in the process of dropping all the remaining ones.
But I think I will have to quit soycial media completely (or at least severely limit my use of it) in order to drop all labels.

@ryo It seems like regular vegetarianism (vegans are more extreme; they won't eat meat or use any animal products) doesn't even exist anymore. Not like I support that either.

@cee I don't hear about non-vegan vegetarians anymore. It's always either meat-eater or vegan.

@xianc78 @ryo

@cee @ryo I've eaten cricket bars before. They're pretty bland but not outright disgusting.

ill give ‘em a try if theyre from somewhere that’s been doing it since before the eat-the-bugs campaign, like I think some south american countries did chile lime crickets since forever, I’d try that

@xianc78 @cee I tried bee larves in Nagano before, they're not bad, but not something I'd like to try a 2nd time either.
