@PhenomX6 I'm kind of mixed about this whole situation. I get that a lot of us don't want an Eternal September on here, but I wish normies stopped relying on big tech because it's gotten to the point where you can't even contact people/businesses/groups via email anymore.
@PhenomX6 It seems like everyone who has ever worked in the imageboard community has become a traitor. The only one I can think of who didn't become a traitor is ironically Mark from 8chan/v/.
@PhenomX6 His stance on loli pissed a lot of people off and apparently he isn't a good programmer (but I can't verify that; Infinity Next is the only project I know that he made himself). And most 8chan users despise KiwiFarms and lolcow culture.
That's also one think I liked about 8chan (at least on the /v/ board) was that they had a disdain for wojaks, pepes, lolcow drama, and culture war ecelebs. Those things were way too prevalent on the non-normie side of the Internet.
(I wish I had a screenshot of that post of someone claiming that they made most of the wojak variants because someone commissioned them all)
You’ll also notice a theme, in this whole “lolcow” sphere all the websites hate each other.
It is widely joked about that people in the lolcow sphere are there because lolcow’s make them look better by comparison. I think there is some truth to that. The petty conflicts between lolcow and drama sites resembles lolcow behavior very well.
As for the 8chan feud, part of it is mentioned in this post too from the prospective of how /cow/ saw it:

Not mentioned is that for years afterwards, /cow/ would continue to mock Josh and his forum. Joshes behavior on his website would lead to multiple schisms from the main website, including the one I linked (which was run by a literal boomer obsessed with Chris Chan and presumably had registrations as a half joke since Josh wouldn't quit bringing it up).
