Some cryptobros really just be like "yaaay unique identity!"
Specially when some are like "Yeah, let's link to your government ID or have your government ID be an identifier for your online accounts".
Blind trust in governments for the present and the future, online services, security protocols being used, software implementations, … how horribly non-resistent people are against phishing, and just forgetting that crypto gets seriously weaker and weaker over time.

@lanodan Monero is still anonymous because it uses ring signatures, though the IRS has placed a bounty for anyone who can find a way to trace it.

@xianc78 Doesn't changes how cryptobros act.
I couldn't care less about blockchain, to me it doesn't scales.

@lanodan I think it's still useful for things like renting virtual private servers or funding open source projects. It's just that we got these idiots who treat it like an investment and not for it's intended use.
