@lanodan I wonder if you can run it on an N64 (based on SGI hardware).

@xianc78 I more wonder if it could run on a Sun Ray (mips-based thin-client)

@lanodan Running this stuff on consoles is much cooler, IMO. I tried getting Contiki to run on my GBA SP (they have a port for it) but I couldn't get it to compile.

@xianc78 Yeah but could you even get a keyboard + 3-button mouse for a N64?

Also somehow I didn't hear about contiki before.
And screenshot on Wikipedia gave me some nostalgia… The GTK theme used for those sub-windows is Nimbus, from OpenSolaris.

There is both a keyboard and mouse for the N64, but they are very rare (they were for the Japan-only 64DD). There is also a second keyboard for the system, but it was for this obscure Sharkwire Online service.

Either way, it's not like you can't use an on-screen keyboard or a homebrew one.

@xianc78 Yeah, but on-screen keyboard isn't bundled with plan9 and as it uses mouse-chording a controller wouldn't be really pleasant to use.
Would have to go homebrew.
