@moomin @hachi @xianc78 @ryo that reminds me of that article about degrowth communism and the wanting to size the down the economy to save the environment, which ironically plays into the hands of the ultra-wealthy and powerful to further dominate and consolidate a monopoly.
i usually would just chalk that down to simply being a coincidence that degrowthing would simply be means to ends, but there's actually quite a large pattern of leftist thought that is supposedly empowering but actually benefit the corporate oligarchs- and that's faaar to often to not be a coincidence.
