I don't play any instruments, and I can't sing, but I have terabytes of music I've listened to and terabytes more that I've downloaded and haven't gotten to yet. My life is incomplete without music in it.
Long ago, I had an internet friend who was 100% deaf, but she (yes, there were girls on the internet in the 90s, but they were rare) would politely drop out of our IRC channel's conversation if anyone was talking about music, or anything that made sound. It had no relevance in her life, so I don't blame her.
She did, however, love anime, because she could always get it subtitled. Sometimes TV and VHS stuff didn't have subs, but anime always did. She once told me to watch Weiss Kreuz because she was also kind of a fujoshit and it was full of attractive cartoon men. I only watched one episode; it sucked.

I could easily get in contact with her and the rest of that group again, but they're mostly a bunch of... bad people now. Some of them psychotically bad.
