They don't. They are cattle. People ruled by emotions are easier to manipulate. They lack convinction.
It is happening because no one stood up against it. The ones that did, we left on their own. Everyone too afraid of making a fuss to stand up for anything.

Conservatives would rather just tell you to homeschool and fuck everyone else (as long as you can ignore the problem) rather than fight for what goes into your children's textbooks .
