The moon is literally just the spectral vessel of the lunar goddess as she patrols the heavens, it isn't a physical object and it isn't something you can interact with. Machines literally can't even see it, when ever you take a picture of it, your phone just edits it in after the fact using filters, just like how it tries to automatically filter your face to make you look less human.
