I think in order to really understand your place in the world you need a connection to past, present and future, by which I mean you need regular interaction with those older and younger than you. Our educational system strictly separating children by age means almost all social interaction they have outside of their family is with peers, as opposed to older people to learn from and younger people that you have to be responsible for.
In a healthy society every upstanding member of the community is trustworthy, as those who are untrustworthy are excluded, shunned, and marginalized, so it's okay for children to have more freedom, and therefore more interaction with neighbors. The "inclusive" society destroys such natural filtering mechanisms and erodes social trust. This isolates individuals, and the lone atomized individual becomes something to be categorized and managed by the progressive state. The individual only interacts with peers and so never gains the perspective of Future and Past, and so is trapped in an Endless Now in which nothing has real meaning or greater significance.
So ironically a "diverse" society is fundamentally lacking diversity in maturity, as adulthood is a product of authority and responsibility. If you have nobody smaller and weaker than you to protect and support, there is no reason for you to grow up in an emotional and spiritual sense. You have been given nothing from the past, and you have no one to pass on your legacy to in the future, so why bother? There might well be some value in racial diversity, but it is not as integral to the human experience as age diversity, so if you have to scrap your high-trust society to get it, it's not really worth it.
Pride is a mockery and perversion of natural society, in which physically mature but emotionally stunted perverts pass on their perversions to the next generation, while "age gap" discourse generally stigmatizes any normal and healthy relationship between adults and children. So such social rot only accelerates alienation and atomization, even among those who believe they're opposing the rot. A healthy social order can only be forged through trustworthy social bonds, and a healthy society can only exist where the populace is united around common social values, and is committed to enforcing these social norms, explicitly prioritizing them over the modern idols of "diversity" and "inclusion."
