What will be the big reveal of tomorrow's Nintendo Direct?

@ArdainianRight ever since I found out Nintendo was super DRM monsters I stopped caring about their products. Never touched a Wii or a seems like they make soy games for soy boys any more. I'm sadly not a part of that market tho I did love lots of the 64 games I loved golden eye so much I bought the 360 remake of it while I was in az. And Mario on the 64 is incomparable fun
@Soy_Magnus The quality of their games on Switch is as good as it's ever been and they're not really pushing politics, which is a rarity nowadays. There's plenty of legitimate criticisms of them, but they do generally make good games.

@ArdainianRight @Soy_Magnus How about stop being a console peasant and support the actually good obscure indie devs that don't make pozzed games like me?

@xianc78 @Soy_Magnus Do your games autistically preach stale lolbert talking points too?

@ArdainianRight @Soy_Magnus Propaganda games tend to be shit regardless of the ideas being expressed. Want an example? Look up a game known as "Ethnic Cleansing". It was a 2002 PC game made by literal neo-nazis and plays like absolute dogshit.

@xianc78 @ArdainianRight remember when that one kid made a game called gay nigger aids on steam and the premise was "a gay nigger gave you aids so now you have to kill them all". It used nothing but stick assets but it looked funny and it got taken down pretty quickly. Postal 2 did a pretty good job of addressing politics in a funny and tasteful manner IMO I'd play that again

Never heard of it. I remember that one game developer who released "Kill the Faggot" on Steam which was nothing but seeing how many gays and trannies you can kill in under a minute. Though that game was really made for shock and the developer was just desperate for attention (he thought people would notice him and it will give attention to the game he was actually working on).

I never played any of the Postal games. I never saw the appeal. It was just some guy running errands and you had the option to kill people along the way. To me that only seems fun for like 5 minutes.

Even then, given that Postal 2 is almost 20 years old, the political commentary would be dated at this point. I bet it's mostly about George Bush and the war on terror.

@xianc78 @ArdainianRight you'd have to play it its still pretty funny to this day. The other postals fall short of the mark but a lot of it was execution of game play not the ideas they had for game mechanics and story line

@Soy_Magnus @ArdainianRight Isn't the fourth one still in development? I know the third one sucked because it was handled by an outside studio. RWS even seemed to acknowledged it.

@xianc78 @ArdainianRight oh yeah they made a funny part of the dlc for postal 2 where u can go into the future and a fat guy tells you it sucks and not to buy it. They acknowledged it sucked but it still looked nuanced. I like they think outside of the box and try new things even if they don't turn out perfect it makes them endearing IMO. I think 4 is still in prod and I'm hopeful it will be controversial and uncensored
@meticore @ArdainianRight @xianc78 I'll have to look it up and see some play throughs. There's a channel who does commentary on everything postal so I'll see if I can find him
@Soy_Magnus @ArdainianRight @xianc78 no, they are still pushing updates because launch been a mess (from what I heard) I'll just wait when it's more polished
@Soy_Magnus @ArdainianRight @xianc78 get postal brain damaged that's actually good you can shoot border jumping mexicans and maganiggers
